Christmas...
We had such a fun Christmas with our little man, We did Christmas eve with my family, We went to Carson's and had a yummy turkey dinner, payed games and opened the mountain of presents!!! Of course we were all spoiled, And Staten was so much fun!!! In the morning we opened a few presents at our house then went up to spend the day with Taylor's family...and of course we were spoiled all over again!!! we are so thankful for our Amazing family's, and so glad to spend our holidays with our loved ones!!!

He is so sweet, just a cuddle bug especially with his mama. I of course love it!!! He thinks he needs to be much bigger than he is, I think he will be a walker sometime this month...JUST CRAZY!!! He is so happy, and just a joy, I'm a very lucky mama and I just LOVE my MR. BIG!!

It all started on the 1St, we meet my Dr. at his office at 4:30 and he put in a Foley, to hopefully start the labor proses. He told me to go to the hospital if I went into labor that night and if not to go Sunday morning at 9:00am. So that's what we did, by the time I got admitted, and in the room it was about 10:00-10:30 he came in to check me and break my water and start me on pit. So here is what I'm thinking, my sister goes pretty fast right, and my sister-in-law (who I saw give birth both times) is the same...so in my head I'm thinking here we go in a few hour's my baby boy will be in my arms!!! Now cut to me...So I decide I want to wait tell I can feel my contractions before I got the good stuff as I'm terrified of needles, so it was a good couple of hours before I got it, Tay had to talk me into it. I was also scared the nurse was going to come check me again, and I wanted drugs for that! so I called for the "Feel Good Dr." and I must say I had that built up in my head to be much worse, I got to say he was one of my favorite people that day!!! So the nurse came back in and I'm thinking I'm at least a 5, oh no she checks me and and I was still a 3, (what I was when I went in that morning) A couple hours goes by and she comes back, checks again, oh about a 4, she says. I could not believe this was taking so long, and this whole thing continued all night! about 6 or 7 she checked me again and I was a 6+, the decided to start turning me every hour to hopefully get things going. Around 11 they came back in and I was an 8 finally a little after 3:00 am I was at a 10+2 and I started pushing. I pushed and pushed and about 4:45 she says your Dr. is on his way to deliver a baby so lets see if we can't get him ready to come out. So I kept pushing, I was so exhausted and almost ready to just give up, My Dr. came in at 5:36 and started pushing with me, I pushed 3 times and he looked at me and said okay we have to get this baby out, he had a bowel movement. All I could think was my baby is going to have to go the NICU (that's what happened with my nephew Mason) So I just gave a few more pushes, my Dr. pretty much had his hands all up there and just pulled him out! They took him over to the warmer and started suctioning out his his lungs to make sure he didn't get any inside, I was so nervous, and it felt like forever, but they soon brought him to me and i saw my baby boy! He was perfectly healthy, I fell in love at first sight...and even though it was the hardest thing I have ever done, I wouldn't change anything! I'm a proud mama!!!

So I am 26 now, That is just crazy to say let me tell you!!! Geezzz...I Had a GREAT birthday weekend, Saturday we went with Taylor's family to Arella (so good if your in the mood for a very nice pizza place so so so good!!!) Sunday we went to my parents my mom makes the BEST CLAM CHOWDER EVER!!!! she'll make what we wont for our birthdays and that was mine, in bread bowls! MMMM Thank you everyone for all my LOVE and PRESENTS!!! I am very blessed to have such wonderful families and friends in my life!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! P.S. Vegas Baby!

Taylor had to go out to Vegas in July for work, so we decided to have me come out as well! It was so much fun. We Stayed at the Mandalay Bay, and for those of you who know about UFC the UFC 100 way also in Vegas that weekend. Taylor was like a kid in a candy store because not only was the fight in Vegas the just happened to be fighting in our hotel! It was a mad house...Vegas is always busy but i have never seen Vegas like this, There were people every where! SO we got all settled in and decided to take a walk down to the many pools that they have. It was so hot so we decided to go get a drink, So we are standing there and all the sudden a HUGE GUY walks up behind us and kinda has to touch Taylor's shoulder to get by him. Out of habit Taylor looks at him and says "whats up man" (with out thinking of course) Well all the sudden Tay looks at me, eyes as wide as they can get and says "DO YOU KNOW WHO THAT IS???" of course I have no idea I mean I watch the fights but I don't know all the fighters, all by name...Well apparently it was Andrei Arlovsky....

I was so funny He was so excited! (even though he wont admit it!) Well we decided to go to the live feed that Mandalay was putting on out at the beach pool it was so much fun, huge drop down screens with the live feed of the fight that was going on in our hotel...it was crazy and we had front row seats!!! Ah my hubby was in heaven, and so was I! the rest of the time (at least during the day) I was on my own and I was okay with that. All I wanted to do was lay by the pool! it was so nice to do nothing but relax! Our nights were full of work events, dinners, drinks with Taylor's boss and some high up people. I love to watch him at work though he is very good with people! We also got to spend time with my dad who just happened to be there for the same convention. It was fun to meet the people he works with and go out to dinner with him as well! One of the nights we went and had a fabulous steak dinner that micros put on and then went to the coolest bar/club I have ever seen it's called The Mix It's at the Mandalay bay in The Hotel part. It's 67 floors up and there is a balcony that wraps all the way round so you can go outside, it was so neat! Even the bathrooms were the coolest I have seen. You go sit down and you have a view of all Vegas I know its sound weird but the whole thing is glass, by far the coolest bathroom yet! lol Over all we had a great trip Thanks babe for having me tag along with you!!!

Wow I'm so bad at this...sorry I know it's no fun to look at a boring blog!

So let's see the Laybourne's haven't been up to anything to exciting. In March we went to Arizona to spent time with his Grandpa and Grandma (they are snow birds and go down for the winter) We had so much fun. We golfed everyday, Taylor was in heaven. I was excited because one of my best friends (Christie Connor) lives in Arizona and I don't get to see her that often. We had her and her beautiful baby girl over for dinner it was so good to get to spend sometime with her!

So Last Sunday we went to the air show. I was so excited I have wanted to go sense Taylor and I started Dating! It was so neat to go on the base and see all the cool planes and watch there air show demonstrations. I wish it had been hot and sunny but it turned out to be a beautiful day and we had so much fun!

Last weekend Taylor and I and Jeremy and Shea all went down south to Mesquite. Taylor had a softball tournament, I can't believe its almost softball season! Taylor was so excited to get to play, what can I say the kid loves his sports! We took off Friday morning and we made good time. I don't know if its me or what but you know when you were younger and you would go on trips in the car and it always took so long to get to where you were going you know the whole " Are we there yet" thing, or is it just that over time you get so used to being in the car that time just seems to fly? hmmm anyways we stoped in St George and ate the In-and-out, one of the high light of the trip we love that place! We had a fun night of playing the penny machines, and they boy's played poker. Jeremy and Shea headed to bed and Taylor and I weren't tired yet so we decided to go play bingo!!! if any of you have played bingo in a casino you know what I about to say...I'm addicted. It was so intense and so much fun, your in a room with mostly older people and they take the game very, very, very serious. You get to play 11 games and it goes for about 1 hr. So much fun, trust me!!!! The next day we spent at the park, They got to play 3 games they didn't win but they did so good it was a really had tournament, I think Tay was glad they only played 3 because he was playing on a broken toe! i know hes crazy, But it actually didn't bug him too bad, It helped him loosen it up, now its just a little tender! when it was done we headed back got ready and went right back to bingo! hahahaa I told you, addicted!! I so badly wanted to yell out BINGO! I never got to but Tay did and he won $150 Crazy huh! We had so much fun with Jeremy and Shea on our quick little get away. Now I'm ready for SPRING!!!

Oh one more thing on our way home just getting into Slc I saw something that made me sick, the car next to us was driving along and all the sudden i see a baby about 10 mths to 1 yr Just standing on his moms lap looking out the window WHAT...not in a car seat and the mom was just laughing. Am I crazy to be upset about that? if they got in a accident that baby would be gone, I was giving the mom a what the heck are you doing look and she was just laughing!!! I felt so bad for that baby, and that the mom could be careless with her child's life!!! sorry I had to throw that in!

So I know I'm not or have not been the best little blogger...but I really am going to try and be better it! I love looking at every ones blogs, and mine has been very boring for a long time now!!!! But I really am going to try and be much better!

This year for Christmas Taylor and I spent Christmas eve with my parents and Christmas day with his...so Christmas Eve we went out to my brothers house we ate a lot of yummy food, opened presents and played games, it's quite the party house!!! We had a lot of fun, Thanks Shawna for having us all over! Christmas morning we woke up and Taylor and I did our gifts to each other, I must say I have a good hubby he spoiled me Thanks babe! We hurried and got ready and headed up to Ogden. We watched Mason open his presents, ate breakfast and then opened our presents. Taylor and I had a wonderful Christmas and are lucky to have such amazing families to spend the holiday season with! We love you all Thanks for everything!!!

Hole in One

Those of you who know my hubby knows how much he LOVES to play golf! Well yesterday we went out to the country club and Taylor, his dad, and Jon went out to play a round. I went to just ride around. We get to # 14 it's a par 4 and 350 yards to the hole. Everyone hits and were off to find the balls, as we come up a hill the group on 15 starts yelling "Who hit that second ball." The man yelling sounded mad so they all are played dumb, as we get closer he starts to say "It went in the hole!!! It went in the hole!!!" I look at Taylor and he says no way!!! Well sure enough it went in the hole!!! Taylor was so excited people play their whole life and never get a whole in one! Not my hubby what a stud huh!!! I'm so excited for him, that's such a cool thing to say I got a hole in one and not on a little par three, a par four from the tips, 350 yards, WOW I'm so proud to say my husband is a dang good golfer!!!

Jon Taylor Laybourne is now 24!!! haha Taylor had a good birthday we were in California for his actual birthday and my Aunt Lynda does such a cute thing she decorates the table in the birthday persons favorite colors and does a theme. So for Taylor's birthday she did a Football theme and it was so cute!!! I made Taylor the homiest meal I could think of, roast with potato's and rolls it was so yummy...and I think it made him feel really special so thanks aunt Lynda for the great birthday Taylor had!!! Then on Tay's real birthday we went to the mall, then we had in and out for lunch, hey it was his birthday and that's what he wanted!!! What can I say he's a cheap date!!! lol then we went to dinner with uncle Jeff and Austin. It was a fun day!!! Here are a few pics of his birthday!!!!

So our lives have been really crazy, sorry it's been awhile sence I've posted!!! So taylor and I have moved back home to Utah!!! We decided that we missed our familys so much and we knew that Utah is where we should be!!! California was a great experence for us both. We are very lucky to have such an amazing uncle and aunt, they took us in and treated us as there own children. We will never forget everything you guys have done for us. We love you very much and miss you all!!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!! I never relized how hard it waould really be to move away from everyone and everything you love and know...Utah is home for us and we are very happy to be Home!!!

California at Last

Were finally here in Sacramento...after a very long two weeks of packing and moving! I thought it was going to be very easy, just getting out the big stuff, cleaning the house, and putting our clothes and things we were taking...Boy was I wrong!!! I couldn't have done it with out every ones help. So here are our thank yous...To all the boy's Bart, Jon, Jeremy, Burkeley, and Dad. I know you all HATE my entertainment center and I'm sorry about that, but thank you all so much for moving it out, and every thing else you moved out for us. To my Mom and Dad thank you so much for letting us store all our stuff in your basement I can't tell you how much that is helping us. Also thanks mom for coming up that Sunday and helping, and also for helping the day we moved I'm very grateful you stayed all day, I couldn't have done that with out you. I'm lucky to have such amazing parents. To Carson, Parker, Reagan, and Boston. Thanks so much for helping us pack the truck, and our two cars who knew you were such a good packer!!! And for helping clean the house. Parker you were such a good cleaner and helper too. I loved that I got to spend the whole day with all the kids (even though I didn't get to play all that much.)They were so good and patient with all of us coming in and out. I love you kids so much. Thank you for staying all day too to help. To Bart and Karen thanks for letting us keep all of our big stuff at your house I know it will be safe and I don't have to worry about any of it!!! Also thanks for taking me to uhaul to get box's and tape you are so sweet to me thanks for being such great in-laws! Thanks Burke for taking the day off to come help too!!! to everyone else Thanks so much we have the best family and friends ever!!!

Taylor and I went to Sacramento this past weekend so that Taylor could take his California State Life Insurance Test. I have never seen him so nervous to take a test. But with a lot of studding and I mean a lot of studding. I'm very happy to say he PASSED!!!! I'm so proud of him he worked hard for this, he said it was nothing like the material he studied. About half way through he said he just stopped and thought, how am I going to explain failing to our family, especially when 3 out of the 5 people who went up before him failed. I couldn't wait to hear the results and it was a long wait!!! And the best news I could have ever heard. So it looks like we will be in Sacramento in just a few weeks! Now I can focus on the bigger picture, packing my house...I don't know how on earth I have acquired so much stuff in just 2 years!!! I can't believe it came so fast. I'm not ready but I guess you never really are!

We're Moving!!!

So I'm starting a blog thanks to my sister. She has wanted me to start blogging for awhile now, and I figured it would be a good time to start...so here I go!!!

Taylor and I are moving not just to a new home some where here, we're moving to California!!! Sacramento to be exact. My Uncle Jeff has offered Taylor an amazing job and we just couldn't pass it up. Taylor likes what he does now but it's not what he wanted to do forever...So we are going to be in the Life Insurance business. My Uncle Jeff and Aunt Linda have offered their home to us, And Taylor is going to learn the business from one of the best teachers possible...and one of my favorite people in the world, my Uncle Jeff!!! We couldn't be more excited about this move. It's kinda weird though to know that we're going to be leaving everything that we know, and everyone that we're close to and love so much. Our family's have given us nothing but there best wishes and they seem to be just as excited as we are. We don't have an exact date but were pretty sure it will be sometime in August. Taylor is just studying away, he has to pass the California state test to get his license, so we will be going hopefully in a couple of weeks to take his test and finalize things with my aunt and uncle and then we will know more. We'll keep you posted on our fun move!!!!
